Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Mid Town
Employment Type: Temp to Permanent Part time
Position Overview:
The hours for this position are 8AM – 3:30PM with a lunch break from 12-1:00PM.
We are a friendly but busy and fast-paced law firm seeking a detail-oriented and
organized Administrative Assistant to provide office support. The ideal candidate will
assist with administrative tasks, including answering the phone and taking clear
messages, opening and scanning mail, and filing, and may be involved in case
preparation and client communication while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls, emails, and general office tasks
Maintain and organize case files and records
Set up conference rooms for client meetings including ordering meals when
necessary
Make occasional banking deposits and trips to the post office, FedEx, etc.
Assist in maintaining office supply inventory and other necessary supplies
Provide administrative support to attorneys and other legal staff as necessary
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Outlook
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
Professional office experience preferred
Must have reliable transportation for work related duties
